i have just gotten a mk4 escort ghia 1.6 wot i wanna know is are they the same head/ block as my rst if they are ill keep em for future spares.. barring the pistons wich id have to change for turbo ones, anyone have any ideas..?

 

No, the head has different shape ports, and the block hasnt got oil return/feed points.although can be modified to have.

lol, its not just the engine... but if i can mod the block thats ok surley, as for the head thats deffo no good then..

 

so is there nothing that can be done to the head to make it suit then..?

injection are the same

block are not hard to modify any engineering place can do it, ive had it done a few years ago

 

carbed one mate i think i havent looked yet, is there no chance it working if its carb?
