another ebay scam, best I've seen yet
Just a warning for all of you ebayers, just had an e-mail through from someone on ebay saying about an item that has been shipped to me which I haven't even bought
I think they're trying to prey on your curiousity to see what the item is then try and log on through their link (which goes to a yahoo address) then steal your password
The e-mail itself looks 100% genuine, the only thing apart from the hyperlinks that lets it down is the ebay username, mine was totally wrong so it looks like they are trying to guess it
Keep your eyes open though

ive just been in my email box and was clearing crap out and deleting and me thinks someones using my account somehow cos of suspected sent emails that i know nothing about ,and the usernames that i sent em too !!!!

fuckin right you have, some one got into mine last year and booked them self a month holiday to Barbados
ebay got in touch with saying they find wierd that i only buy ford stuff from ebay and then this appears
So ebay do moniter there site which is nice to know but as said you gotta be on your toes

thats actually a genuine Paypal e-mail, looks like someone was trying to list something on my username on ebay
Passwords have all been changed now

I had a woman try and scam me, she lived in holland but wanted my to send the cd play she had won to a postoffice in south africa at the same time sending me a fake paypal email saying they have the funds but wont release till they have a tracking number by then its to late you have sent the item and no money ever appears. lucky i clocked it before i sent the item ebay closed her account.
