PINKING - WTF

Can it do much damage to a 3i?? I melted my ERST thru this and think the 3i is pinking a little. Might just be a tappet and I am being paranoid.

Think i might adjust the timing when i get home from work

yeah it can... knock your timing back a bit... if it still does it (the noise that is), it probably is summink simple like you say...
