FTAO its me again
would you be so kind as to answer a few questions for me on Skyline theme? i know you had your cossie but what advantages would you say the skyline has over it,what are the main diferences between the models ,GTR,GTS ,Gt,R32,R33.how dose the insurance compare mate .
Just i was looking at a few the other night but dont know to much info or price guides ,they had a nice GTR on a M plate and a GTs i belive that looked great.am giving it serious thought about changing the 3 door

GTSs are slow non turbo shite.
R33GTSTs are 2.5litre RWD turbo, about 250bhp and can go to upto about 500 on a standard bottomend.
Look pretty plain to me, without the GTR flared arches, boring interior, etc, but can still get 275wide rear tyres on
and have a good strong transmission. The modded ones outdid the modded RWD cossies at TOTB really, with less money spent i reckon too.
R34GTTs are same engine/transmission, R32GTSTs are 2litre straight6.
GTRs are totaly different engine and transmission.
2.6 twin turbo, 4wd with active centre diff, 400bhp comes from a stage1 type tune, 600-650bhp is OK on a good std bottomend, and 1200+bhp if you goin wild.
Std GTR transmission can be incredibly strong.
Looks mental too with massive flared arches etc
Dont worry about V-Specs, they only have stiffer (too stiff forUK) suspension and a weaker rear diff
R32s are lightest and mean as fuck
R33s are big gay blobs
R34s are cool as fuck (GTRs anyhow) but too heavy n expensive

Skylines changed my life...i thought there was no car to beat a Cossie till i phoned the Samaritans...they said "Man....dont be depressed there is hope for you...get a Skyline.....it will make you more confident and go out not being embarrassed that you just driving an old taxi"

It makes me laff that you all think Steve is a "guru"...he aint ever driven a Skyline...all he got is a rusty wreck that he cant afford to rebuild..ROFL

Ive driven 5 GTRs so far, including mine, mine is PERFECT condition underneath, seriously concourse, and i can more than afford it, ive spent coming on for 10k modding it so far
You do hate cossies and your GTR is nearly standard, i was telling the truth, unlike you!

Itsme - are the r32 gtr's internals (as in under bonnet / perofrmance) the same as an r33 gtr?? I've been looking at alternatives to getting an F150 (although probably will stick with it), and can afford to get an R33 GTR (or v spec, whatever is about), but wont bother spending the extra coin if they are the same as an R32.
