Default I was wondering......

Apart from Myself, Mr C and Tim....

What other 1600 CVH powdered Escorts have broken into the 160+mph bracket at Bruntingthrope, what was their "spec" and what speed did they achieve?

I reckon stuart is going to smash 160.

Aparently Tim is properly going to push the envelope with his new engine.

I know mine never got to 160, but I was well chuffed with my 153

Karl helped spec it and I built it:

std crank - blanced
Farndon Steel rods
Cosworth Forged pistons
std head gasket, oil and water pump
Karl Norris Stg 3 head with matching manifolds
Stg 3 T3 turbo on a 0.48 exh housing
Mongoose exh
GRS i/c
Std KE with the fuel mod
NMS chip

Engine was probably good for a genuine 230bhp. It was a cracking little engine

Mark, has yours been re-run yet?

Mine has made 290lb/ft and that feels like it want's to rearrange internal organs, so I can't imagine what a more torquey 1600 would feel like.

I don't think you will find that there are any more people other than you three who are stupid enough to chuck £20k at a bean-tin .

Your a sadcase Dingy, pure and fooking simple. ALL you ever seem to do is argue with people, even your friends tread carefully around you cos of your attitude probem.

Example:
Telling someone to fuck off, just for laughing at a picture on the internet, eyah, what a star personality you have.

Go get a life you waste of fooking oxygen.
