I bought a Toyota Corolla Gti when I was 19. Car cost me 1600 quid, insurance cost me nearly 1700 tpft. Couldnt afford it after 6 months so stupidly sold it. I still regret it to this day

First car was a 1.4 Escort Encore, and was a whopping £1600 on insurance
This car is a 1.6 (Well it isnt but they think it is ) at 19 is £1200 to insure, even though it is kept in the garage and fully alarmed in a reasonable area. Time for a change in companies methinks
Both TPFT

The red 306 in that pic was my 1st car, 1.6xs, not bad considering it was bought and insured by myself at 17, now been passed down to my bro, and its still going strong (ish)
And my insurance was just over 1500 3rd party in my own name, looks cheap compared to what Jim was paying

Fuck off.
I pay over £1000 a year to insure, so please tell me how that makes me uninsured?
Bla bla bla, the engine, so what i'll take it out if I have to, anyway id be fucking amazed if an insurance inspector could tell a 2.0L from a 1.6 Zetec.
My insurance company wanted £500 for some wheels, so like fuck am i going to declare anything with prices like that, they bring it on themselves with their extortionate prices im afraid.
Its MY car i should be able to do what I want to it.

Yes & no, it means i can have my car how I want it, to be honest its safer than a standard Escort with the upgraded brakes and suspension. Would I pay for the modifications if they were a sensible price? Of course. As I said insurance companies bring this sort of shit on themselves, id happily pay another £500 for all my mods, but like fuck am I paying £500 for just a set of wheels.
Im sure your breaking the law all the time too mate, as in a recent thread im sure you said your Clio sport was always on the redline

This is gonna sound silly but if your a insuring your car as something it isnt? Isnt your insurance void if you have a crash or something?
Is there any point paying for insurance that may get questioned upon when needed!
Not having a go, just wondering because im dumb

The only reason I'm insured, is to protect other people, in case I crash into them...so the idea of being uninsured, and comprimising another persons vehicle just isn't an option...I wouldn't want it done to me.
Why buy any insurance if it's invalid?

Yes Gem. And i'm afraid I agree with jim galbally on this one. Insurance companies CAN AND WILL do anything to get out of paying for a claim. Give them a reason and they'll take you to the cleaners. Not to mention the legal implications.
