If this is Rally Design's own brand I have a set on my XR2 they have seen some stick and are spot on discs in my opinion.

thanks peeps, they are for my stage 3 saph cos and seem cheap as chips

think ill try them

what pads u runnin in ur cortina ?? assuming ur running sierra gear ?

Would be better using max pads aswell

looked up there pads and the cossie wasnt listed for pads

lol, prob get the black diamonds pads

753S 2wd unless yours is a 4wd

I have EBC green stuff and EBC combi disc's on my saff 2wd never had a problem with them either

they are cheap, defo. Ive just put some black diamond discs on, and they are doing really well. Ive had smoke totally pouring from the pads, and they still straight as. But, for 50 quid, i'd try em. I'd use a mintex or a ferodo pad.

i used the black diamond combis and pads on my previous st24 mondie and they were awsome compared to standard ones


just saw the fact the maxtourqs were half the price even for the combi versions !! and after replacing the clutch and turbo im el-skinto

The guy I spoke to at Rally Design said for road use the Maxtorq discs are cool and will with stand plenty he did advise, as people above have said, to go for a better pad like Mintex (which I did) he told me that the Mintex pads are just the same as the EBC green stuff pads and are spot on.
For a budget set of discs I can't fault them.

I used maxtorq brake discs & mintex pads before i upgraded to a 330mm brake kit, i would deffo buy maxtorq discs again they are an excellent bit of kit for the money, no problems with warping.

Before i bought my big brakes, i used there grooved discs and Mintex 1144's
worked a treat everytime and stood up to a good beating on combe

Used a couple of sets of these on the Cossie, were fine, just don't expect too much. If you use them "properly" the usual cracking appears.
As I've told you before don't go for drilled.
