Get this, Been stuck offshore for days due to fog and finally the fog clears for us to be told that the plane which takes us from Shetland to Aberdeen cant land at Scatsta airport because there is not enough wind. Never heard of this before. What do you think? are they just taking the p**s.

 

 

 

 

Could be a short 'strip and they need to land into a good wind to be able to stop in time.

Yeh strip is quite short and the plane that they use is the biggest they can land there just never heard of this one before. looking forward to getting home for a

We have had the fog horn onsince friday M8 this is the first day its cleared

 

Got some flights coming in now but looks like it will be Monday before they catch up with the back log and eventually get me off of here.
