Default V5 Problem

Hi,

Just got a new car, need it to get to my work placement at uni.

The seller said they would send the MOT and V5 to my address.

Now he says he cannot find the V5

The DVLA say it could take up to 6 weeks to sort

Is there anyway around this?

Cheers

Rich

I think you're gonna have to accept this as learning the hard way mate. NEVER leave a seller's home/place of business without the relevant docs if he's told you he has them.

I did this by accident once and even though I had seen the docs in the flesh, the guy was useless and they never got to me.
