I think some of the opinions expressed on this thread are fucking disgraceful. Insinuating fraud and questioning a persons integrity in such a manner is shameful.

IMHO, I think someone from the boards did it, not meaning an active everyday user but someone who's lurking.
I just read on a Porsche board that this dude had his prized fully worked 944 stolen. Turns out one of the members who IS active and a bit dodgy (selling and buying stuff) was the one caught with the car! Stripped and along with that a Track Ferrari from another member! The theif may or maynot be lurking anymore who knows? I know I was fecking gutted to shit when my 3dr was stolen!! and shit, there's only about 5 of them in all the US! One day though, my wheels will come out of hiding LOL.
Not sure how your tracking works there but there is a tracking for cars over here that can tracks your car every 5 mins and can be set up to call the owner if it loses power/connection and some other stuff. That's what I'm getting when my shed is rebuilt!

having a mid life crisis
So Bruce spent god knows how much money,how much time building his car.Loved his car with a passion and probaly cost him more than an entire weeks giro supply for the whole of liverpool.
Has more money than most of us put together.
Decided to do an insurance for 30k
And you say I have had some stupid ideas.
Usual suspects whos cars have not perfromed aswell crwal out the woodwork and come up with all theories.
Well heres my theroy Nath and Eagle did it to buy a rare balnket made form shergar main hand sown by elvis.With princess dis signature on it. (no ooffence meant)
Or maybe the yanks mistook it for an enenemy aircraft nuked it,realised their mistake and then useda rya gun to make the remains dissaper

the car was a legend, and its a great shame it was stolen, and if bruce decides to build another one, i wish him all the best with it, and hope peoples negative comments do not stop him from building one.

I can't believe some people on here, being so sure Bruce did an insurance job, when they don't even know the guy
As Mike says it does not make sense for him to have done that anyway, and I for one do not believe he did anyway
