Default any ideas?

How to stop this?

Thought about cable ties or something?

If you cant see its the throttle cable touching the top of the cover and its making indentations on it and it WILL NOT bend any other way without springing back into position

You cheeky sod

Im not no bufty, never clean under the bonnet and i think that cable making a permenant dent in the rocker cover is abit more to worry about than abit of muck/grime that would clean off with abit of elbow grease!?

If you cant answer my question then dont post, its not rocket science

put some double sided foam sticky pads between the cable and rocker cover ... cut it so its the same width as the cable and it should stay put...

The cable wont dent your rocker cover, its only resting on the top of it, not being pressed into the rocker cover

I wouldnt think the plastic shielding would damage a metal rocker cover, why not a bit of masking tape or insulation tape round it.

It has mate, as i said before its made an indentation but i guess if its already made a dent i may aswell leave it there just didnt want it wearing the cable away or something because obviously the rocker cover gets very hot.

You'll probably find that "dent" is supposed to be there So the cable just rests in it

Where the cable passes over that bolt on the side of the cam carrier housing........ Why don't you make up a little bracket,to hold the cable,so that it sits just above the cam cover ??
Something like a plug lead tidy bracket, from a breaker, could be modified to do the job !! O.K. ??
