Cracking cars, but more so the later ones if you want a bit more refinement.

Earlier ones are still proper good fun on b-roads etc.

What one is he looking at?

I had a really nice VX220, and mechanically they are definitely superior to the Elise, but I must admit, awesome though it was, I got fed up with it quite quickly because they're so impractical, and all of these items apply to the Elise. They're very noisy inside at speed, I went in an S1 Elise and it was even worse than the VX, they're a right pain to get in and out of, you can't put anything in it, and they just don't feel like they're going to last a long time. But the handling is incredible, a lot better than most other cars, and for laughs on a sunny day with the roof off you can't beat them.

My bro has one of these, i would not get one as i think the pedals are too close together, if your tall like Trevcos said they are a nightmare to get in and out and your knees may hit the steering wheel when driving. They are loud inside on the motorway and have nothing inside except heater controls and the stereo i dont feel safe inside one as well. Other than that though pal there alright.
