did they say the pistons are fucked in my turbo

if they did they might not have actualy ment in the turbo but in there turbo engine

As rob says either you misunderstood him or he knows utterly nothing.

I guess at a push you could kind of mistake the actuator rod as a piston, but even that is fucking tenuous at best.

Sounds to me like you misinterpreted it.

For instance, me saying to chip 'pistons are fucked in the turbo' because i would refer to my car as 'the turbo' and he would fully understand what i meant.

Either that, or you really have someone what grew up with the halfords generation.

Probably not even a turbo, just a 12v fan at 400rpm forcing a thimble full of air into the engine every hour
