I have just fitted a new set of clocks in my 3 door and the rev counter doesent work

The rev counter is supplied with a signal from the green wire in the plug to teh clocks. Sounds like you have bought a set of dead clocks pal.

it's basicly run off of the coil
if everything is plugged in properly the only reason it's not working will be duff clocks as stu says

unless someone with a bit more info can tell what readings you would be looking for with a multimeter to see if there wasn't a break in the wire?
