had a bloke ring me up 2day,his frst cut out on him the other day it popped and farted then backfired then cut out on him,it wouldnt start up when he tried but got it started by bumping it but it still popped and farted a bit then cleared and apparently was ok when he drove it home.When he got in it the next day it just swung over but wouldnt fire up,hes changed the coil pack and the crank position sensor but still hasnt changed anything,apparently when it popped and farted and back fired it chucked a load of black smoke out the back if thats got anything 2 do with it also hes saying its got no spark but havnt had a look at the car myself yet so not sure,the ecu has been chipped with a superchip aswell,any help is much appreciated

Has he checked relays are all ok? If it's chipped I'd check that the Chip is seated properly and not shorting out or anything like that.

problem is i havnt had a chance 2 look at the car and havnt had chance 2 find out much about it either really but hopefully going 2 get hold of it soon 2 hav a look over it and try 2 figure out whats wrong
