Default i HATE scoobies!

nice easy job,spark plug change,right?
er.....fucking NO!
took 2 and a half hours,u have to remove the airbox, washer bottle, battery! then the holes are lined up so that the inner wings are in the way of any decent tools so a million combinations af uj's ratchets and extensions later and i have changed all four for my less car knowledgable mate, holy fuck it pissed me off!

It's not so bad actually. I halped quite a lot on big bhp Scoob and we had to change spark plugs to even start the thing. 30 minute job if ou know what you're doing. My mate managed that with my help at -20 degrees. Still one of a few downsides of flat four.

The service interval for them is 50k anyway as they are platinum tipped, so shouldnt need doing that often!

Why the problem?

You only do it once every 30,000 miles...

not like some ford thing....

As Azrael says 30mins (seen it done in 20mins).

And as also pointed out is every 30k miles. Most Cossie plugs in higher powered Cossie engines dont last 10k miles.

Must admit though.... it can be a bit of a knuckle scraper!
