Top = heater

Bottom = tank.

Thanks Mate

That'll teach me to take them off and leave nearly six months before thinking about putting them back on

Furthermore, i wonder if you could possibly explain how the 2x pipes are run back towards the bulkhead.

that is, are they both metal pipes?

if so, are they a particular shape???

Cheers

as mentioned top heater bottom header tank

the other heater pipe is a rubber one and runs off the oil warmer from under the inlet and goes round the back of the engine

Thanks for that, but it more the 2x pipes running back towards the bulkhead from the pump/stat housing.

I have removed the oil cooler modine and have no heater either.

IIRC doesn't the Heater connection go to a small piece of rubber hose and then a steel pipe back to the bulkhead???
Any pix's???

what about the Header tank connection? is that just a rubber hose all the way back to the header?
Where's it routed on the cossie in relation to the engine???

I didn't have anything to work from either so guessed, i've got a plastic pipe with a bend in it that takes the heater connection over the manifold to a rubber hose for the heater.

The bottom hose drops to the chassis rail, runs along under the engine mount then up the diagonal by the pedal box to the battery shelf and onto the header tank.[/quote]

ok

what you need to do now the modine is removed is have a pipe that goes from the back of the head to the heater matrix

on the water pump its as mentioned the one that goes to heater has a metal pipe that runs along the manifold obviously joins each end with rubber hoses

the one from the header tank depending on 2wd or 4wd has ametal pipe that bolts to the rad so from the bottom of this pipe goes to water pump as pictured then from header tank into metal pipe

Right, now i see where that 'Rad pipe' goes ive always seen pictures of.
Didn't know the header tank connection went forwards of the engine rather than backwards.

Cheers
