If I wanted to copy the phone book from my nokia to a sony ericsson is there a way to do it so that I can keep all the extra information?

copying to sim card screws the data up as you cant store all the additional numbers and info for a contact on a sim card.

Do you mean the nokia suite? That wont allow me to copy the data down to a sony ericsson phone - only another nokia phone.

I can't imagine it's possible. The 2 phones will operate in completely different formats.

take it to your local phoneshop and pay them a fiver to swap it. Or just put the phonebook onto your sim and stick it in the new phone.

Can't the Nokia software save the contents of your phone memory as a CSV file in Excel?

If so, the Sony Software may be able to import that.

Nokia uses .nfb and .nfc as far as I know, which are unique to Nokia.
