how old was u then Gav?

sorry if that seems a daft question, as i've just tried to get a quote on a 1989 saphie and got nothing, even with a tracker and cat1. norwich union (who have always given me good quotes) quote to around 2k on the net, then suggest to ring them if they cant get below that price....and i got told to ring em

I payed £650 fully comp on a Traders policy when i was 21, im now paying £352 fully comp 6yrs later

I was quoted £1300 ish when I was 21 on my first cossie

thought bollox to that and did it in me old mans name with me as MAIN driver (which pissed the cops off as there was fuck all they could do about it) and paid about £600 tpft

i pay about 850 quid FC thru tesco.

*edit* forgot to add that im 23.

Paid about the same last year for a calibra turbo thru tesco as well

fook sake i feel like an old bast now. 30yr old and paying £400 FC for 89 2wd with all mods declared. Ahmed 803 and the likes. Last year insured 2 for £750. Dominion.

I have to go on classic insurance, funny thing is I just had quickfit insurance phone me, I let him take all the details and he comes back with £3560 fully comp and had the cheak to say is that a competative quote lol I was laughing my head off!

I've been quoted £560 full comp. gone up from last year though

To true, had some right laughs with totaly spuid out of this world quotes. Got knocked back from quite a few companys as well. Even ones out of the back of certian mags who claim they will insure modded cossies.

cooont, thats only £60 more than im paying on my GLX and im TPFT
