FOR EVERYONES INFORMATION!!!!!!! , It wasnt left to the last minuite, the car was worked on for the month prior to the event and we were still working on it on the day before due to waiting for parts, money etc etc i'm sure if you speak to kenny he will confirm this, while we're on about it i must say a big thanks to kenny for all his help as i couldnt of even got there if it wasnt for him

mike, do you remember me sending you a text message saying "i don't have internet access so can you please keep me informed via text" cos if you had of done i would of known i was atually wanted to run for the team instead of me having to ring chris mann direct only to find out you hadnt put me down on the list, luckily chris managed to fit me in (cheers chris) and subsequently i will run for the 200+ team next year,

Phil,

I know that Mike will say that his car is not powerfull enough, and that is as good a reason as any....BUT I think who ever is in charge of the Cossie TOTB 4 team, the person(s) should NOT have their own car entered for the event, as it would cause a conflict of interest, and is open to many of the problems encountered by the RST team this year

IMO Mike and Stu would be ideal as they can step back and take an overall view of what is needed to form a strong team up for the event next year.....

Doug...Mike NEEDS to enter as its atleast a garanteed entry..LOL.

PS looking at all this it seems to me Mike dont want help from Stu....cause if he admits he needs it then its like saying he cocked up on the past events..which is of course true

Lee,
I sent you the form over a MONTH before the event for you to fill in and send off, it wasn't until I asked Chris who he had received forms off that he even told me you hadn't bothered to send yours in, so I asked Stu to chase you. Also, I don't beleave you when you say that Chris says I didn't ask him to put you in the team, as I have on my computer ALL the emails asking him to do so, including his acknowledgement of him fitting you in . So up yours .

I honestly dont think that T4 equiped Cossies without NOS would stand a chance on the TOTB format.......Things have moved on sooo much this year, and next year I dare say that even a T4 Cossie WITH NOS wont be fast enough to be any more than an "also ran". I still say that the various Cossie tuners/engine builders should be feilding their own cars, or at least backing their best customers cars to the hilt for the event - a much more professional aproach that willl pay off in the long run................

Look at the TOTB Class C results (4WD): 31 entries of which 30 were Jap cars (a Golf being the only non Jap car).....nearly all the tuner backed/owned cars being the fastest!

I agree if you talking a full weight car.

BUT with a decent Nitrous setup, decent transmission, proper drag suspension and tyres, and lightened to fuck and you got a contender, but only a winner if others have problems or very inconsistant.

I still genuinely think its not THAT hard/expensive to have a genuine contender thats not ran/sponsored by a tuner...

Kev would have been in with a chance at winning the quarter mile if he hadn't had problems with the car. He's already done a 10.xx quarter, don't know about top speed though.

Exactly what i meant about problems and inconsistancy, because many cars had problems he couldve possibly won 1/4mile.

But if the cars that had problems didnt, he wouldnt of been able to win any of the events outright unfortunatley.

IMO there needs to be a Sub-2.6 class, and even then itl be fookin dead hard.

COCK!!!

Try reading my post again thoroughly WITHOUT selective reading glasses on,

You sent me a form incase there wasnt a qualifying, i text you asking if you could inform via text or ring to me as soon as you knew for defo about qual, my brother also PM'd you to confirm this, i dont find that difficult to understand, as for asking stu you didnt do anything of the sort untill after the cut off date,

Try being the big man you try to make people think you are and admit when you are wrong,

Mou left the post on the totbforum saying that i was confirmed for qual along with 7 others, surely when you realised that there wouldn't be a qual event you should of amended that post?????

Maybe its time for you to stand down from organising this event????
