whos tuning it for you?

if they can map P8 propperly, you'll see no gains in gonig for a aftermarket unit

well it would be likly that msd would do it

just thinking of other ideas for doing it, was reading a post on here about aftermarket and reading that some of em aint that good in all aspects and so made me wonder

no point getting a cheeper after market to get it mapped to find its actually not as good as a standard ecu apart from its got a coil pack

i think both brom and stu sell the stuff for a phase trigger

what other toys do you want?

P8 does both closed loop fueling, and closed loop boost control

it means you have a setpoint for boost,,,say 20psi,,, and the boost control circuit trys its hardest to keep it at 20psi

well if you got a boost controller,, you dont need closed loop control

i do like the ecu having full control over all the engine functions though

you can get coilpack boards for p8,,,,,,,,,, theres ones for l8 but your subject to secs waiting times,,,,,,,,,,,,,, only been a year so far and still not available,,,,,,,,,,, take into account people have too the piss how long its taken me to get the cossie back together wasa long time and one of the reasons i wasnt rushed is i wanted dizzyless ignition,,,,,,,,

p8 or aftermarket was the only way i could go dizzyless before,,,,,, but things may have changed

you don't need coilpack boards for P8 the hardware is already there, you just need to enable it in the software
