Swedish Cosworth power!
My friend here in Sweden dyno run and mapped his engine 2 weeks ago. The engine is standard volume, but not much more is standard. The engine delivered 820 BHP at 8400 rpm, and 770 NM. The powercurve showed no tendence to drop off, but they didn,t want to push it to death in the dyno. They rev the engine to 9200 rpm max. The cuns an Autronic management system with 1600 cc injectors. Etanol is the fuel! Quite good, isn,t it?

Linered block, very modified head with raised inlet ports,Garrett GT 42R turbo(on the limit here) Farndon steel crank, steel rods, don,t remember make. Steel main bearing caps, i think i was CP pistons. Of course special plenum chamber with Audi throttle body. 1600 cc injectors running Ethanol. Compression and cams are also"special", but it,s quite lumpy at idle of 1300rpm! There is of course a specially made exhaust manifold too!
(820 BHP at 8400 rpm, 2,5bar boost, and still pulling like a train! With a bigger turbo we would easily see closer to 900 BHP at 9000 rpm, said the man who dyno,d it. Who knows, i think it will move his 1150 kg Sierra quite good as it is!

I,ll see if i can get any oics. The car has never been to UK. I guess you can make around 700-720 bhp on 98ron fuel. Usually you don,t run that much boost on a road map for a car like this, because on regular fuel it,s just for transportation to tracks. The earlier version of the engine made 570 bhp on 98 ron fuel at 1,7 bar boost, but that version was not as near as good as this one. It made 700bhp at 2,0 bar boost and race fuel with wrong cams. Then the engineblock cracked.
