wel not in performance department maybe, but in terms of the loudness.sound of the exhaust? this if i fit a back box (rage for example) and it is designed for a petrol engined car and i fit it on my diesel engined car. will the noise be different from the noise that it would have made on the petrol car? also, what kind of noise would it make? it would be lower noise than a petrol as diesels dont rev as much?

I suspect it will still sound like a tractor although perhaps slightly louder

eh,... surely if its on say a 2l petrol astra, the noise of the exhaust would be different to a diesel engine car, even if it had the same exhaust,....
