Default Anyone into Banksys Stencil Graffiti?

It's mostly stencil art in London and Bristol, it's supposed to be thought provoking and he's been in the news a few times for hanging his stuff in galleries/museums without anyone knowing

He did some stuff in LA as well but the wall dividing Palestine is

A mate of mine that's been into graff art since he was a nipper got me into it, I went and did the trail along south bank the other day

There is only one Banksy, lot's of copycats I expect though.

In fact someone daubed Banksy across a bridge on the way into Bristol on the M32.
He ended up on the front page of the local Evening Post denying that one was him.

There was no style or point to it at all

His name is Robert Banks, he's a native of Yate, South Gloucestershire born in 1974
when your around Bistrol his early works was represented by the DryBreadZ Crew.
Rob looks a bit like jimmy nail imho he used to eat at the bungalow inn near Portishead on sundays on a regular basis.

Regarding the Banksy book, the 2 little ones mentioned in this thread are no longer in print and fetch serious money now. Have a look on ebay.

seen quite alot of his work over london whilst walking to various sites. Some of his paintings have fetched SERIOUS money..!!

walked passed one of his works today... said something like "turn around go back to bed" with a rat holding a sign.. I think.

Wouldnt mind a canvass print with one of his works on..

There was a mural on a wall in St. Werburghs, Bristol designed by Banksy and painted by friends in memory of another friend who sadly passed away.
It was called "The new pollution" but the wall was pulled down to make way for a block of flats. Specialist art dealers estimated the wall would of been worth well into five figures!

I bought a Nick Walker signed print a while back and it has pride of place on the bedroom wall-might be a bit more careful with it now looking at the prices they are now going for
