just use the xr4x4 ones out of a 2.9 as these are longer

may as well change them both to be honest i did and never had any probs after that

my car was lowered on custom springs around 70-80mm drop which is way to low for a 4x4 when i had the cossie shaft snap i put these in and had no probs what so ever

why dont you all just do the job right and fit adjustabler TCAs when you have a lowered car,it will make it handle better and save you cash on snapped shafts and wearing the inside of your expensive tyres

and the shafts aren't so much of the issue it the engine mount that breaks which then causes it to pull on the CV joint which then of cause leads to it breaking

And lowering a 4x4 cossie more than about 25mm fuks up its handling anyhow.

oh and exactly what pete says too

heavy duty engine mounts help you can also space the engine up a bit to help the angle on the shaft
