My brother and I both use them - both on our 205 mi16s, and him on a 370bhp cossie, and me on my RS Turbo.
Certainly a marked improvement over a normal road tyre. Not sure how long they'd last if used on the road all the time, but my brothers cossie did 4 or 5 full trackdays last year on one set before they were about ready to be changed.
We're off to the Nurburgring with the PF crowd over Easter so a proper report when we get back if i remember as to how they stood up against the Ring!
For the price, you wont go far wrong IMO. If you're interested in a good price, PM SiB on here (or e-mail sib666@hotmail.com) and he might be able to sort you out a decent price on them

As per Sketch's report - they are flippin ace on the road and track - and although they are primarily designed as a dry weather tyre they do still work fine in the wet (although obviously not as well as a 'conventional' road tyre).
I use them on a spare set of wheels on track, but spent much of last year on the road with them as well, as they work just as well at fast road speeds as high speeds on track.
Wear wise - as an example I'd say you could get 5000 miles out of these on the road only - and normal tyres 7-10000.
However on the track what people may be surprised to learn is you can probably make a set of these last LONGER than a conventional road tyre.
The side walls are much firmer, and the tread grooves are far fewer, meaning there is less distortion, and more of the tread is in contact with the ground more of the time. I've used extensively Toyo T1Rs and Toyo T1S, and have used Goodyear F1s, Fuldas, Kumhos and Nangkang Ditch finders. All suffer badly on the side walls and edges of the treads - they bead up and melt, and squirm all over the place when hot.
I've bought 8 R888s for my cossie so far, and have bought 4 for my Pug. I like 'em so much I've secured a very nice deal with Toyo direct to sell them at track days etc throught the year. I can also arrange for them to be delivered (£10 for 4) to anywhere mainland UK. Same with any Toyo tyre, though the R888s get my vote if ultimate grip is what you're after.
PM or email sizes and quantities and I'll let ya know....
cheers

PassionFord Post Whore!!
I had them on my 306 and found them excellent in the dry and wet round combe.
When the track is properly waterlogged they aquaplaned a few times but otherwise excellent track tyres
