Looking to spend about £400-£500

Needs to connect to the pc easily for editing. I have used the older micro-mv sonys and these have been a pain in the arse

Paul, check out the new hard drive camcorders, hours of recording, no tapes, USB transfer, etc...

They may be slightly more expensive than you have budgeted for though.

Out of interest, what is your current camcorder, are you looking to sell (for a good friendly price ) ?

Ah ok, what was the problem with the MicroMV tapes ?

PS: Sorry to hijack your post , I would like to change our camcorder (old hi8), but I don't want to spend hundreds, so probably looking at a second-hand digital one.
