What mag for best feature????
Well I recon me old bean tin is about at a standard it could be featured and have had discussions with Fast Ford who appaer happy to feature it but have since had people say "*** mag is better for a feature" what do you guys recon
TBH I am not really too bothered who features it as its likely to be broken in the not too distant future and as Fast Ford have shown interest will probably use them not contacted anyone else, just looking for your opinions

IMO the feature quality is down to the individual journo who writes it, rather than the mag it gets in. If you get a decent writer who's got half a clue about what he writes about, then you get a good feature, if not then you get the usual comic poo...

Last time I spoke to PF they gave me the distinct impression (infact I think Ben actually said it) that they aren't really interested in RST's any more as they are old news.
How about Redline? Is it their cup-of-tea? It is a very nice looking Cab after all (far better than it was 12 months ago anyway!!

Hi it's actually Ben here from Performance Ford! Christian mate, I don't know where that came from but I deffo have NEVER said that and don't think RS Turbos are 'old hat'... what a load of old bollocks!
I owned one up until recently, we have at least one in each and every issue (sometimes more), and the next few issues will contain some of the best in the country. We even featured your car dude, or did that one slip your mind?!
Cheers,
Ben... PF Editor and RS Turbo lover!

Mate, We ran a full buying guide on the 280 Brooklands in the May '04 issue, we ran a buying guide on the 2.8i last year and have featured numerous 24v Cossie and Cossie YB powered Capris over the years. The reason the mag isn't full of them is that the majority of owners that still have Capris in good condition are concours or collectors who aren't interested in modifying their cars. If we get sent good modified Capris, we will try and include them because I for one am a big fan of them. But in the whole ten months i've worked for the mag, we haven't had a single one sent in for a feature, which is a shame really as we try to cover all the performance Ford range, including new and old skool.

We've got a very interesting Cortina coming at the end of the year, it's definately one to look out for.
We tend not to cover the old skool cars in the technical section because we try to cater for the majority with our technical advise and we also do loads of product testing, but as there aren't really any new bits being released for the old skool market, it doesn't leave us with much to cover.
If there is anything you would like to see in the mag, then please email either Ben, Dave or myself and we'll see what we can do for you.

Hi Nick, Just reading the above article have you covered fitting one of those pro-chargers to a MK6 escort, not that I have one fitted but I have seen turbo conversions unless I missed that one, I would even donate my car for the day for you to fit one if you got a pro-charger donated to yourselves
