Woohoo, he beat it once, its since ran a high 9sec 1/4 and it still runs a standard gearbox.

Nothing wins every time unless it never has probs and has THE most consistant driver ever.
1/4mile isnt easy like people think.

That guy in the CRD Supra couldn't half fuckin' peddle it round the handling circuit aswell! the lost it once but just carried on with the spin & ended up pointing in the right direction then finished the lap with it twitching into oversteer all the time. Serious car control ESPECIALLY considering the power & that was his first attempt, unfortunately didn't see it going round again

That golf belongs to Grant Parker owner off Dubweiser in Scunthorpe, he built the full thing himself, engine and fllorpan took from audi 100! cut down to fit the Mk1 golf, currently runs 600-700bhp Used to help him out when he traded at VW shows a few yrs back, great bloke and a proper whizz with a welding torch. (it has NOS aswell but not sure he's using it at mo!)

There were so many Jap cars present, it was unbelievable!

BIG RSpec' to all the RS Turbo's & Cossie's that made it and took part.

Even BIGGER RSpec' to S1 (Paul Roberts, owner of Paul Rileys old Fiesta) for breaking the 0-60 RST Record on a few occasions during the day and just missing out on the FWD Class Win (yep he made the FWD Final) by a tenth of a second!! Was SO close!!!

Fastest time was 12.7 secs.

FYI, we were asked by the organisers that if any cars dropped out, not to replace them, as the event was already over-subscribed . This will not effect next year's allocation of cars though.

Not my fault the top car's weren't ready or pulled out at last minute .

And as stated in previous posts, it was supposed to be "Ten of the BEST", not "Ten of the mediocre that we could scrape together" .

Was good to see the Fezza go, but I think if Andy N's Progressive NOS Controller hadnt packed up on the start line, then he would have been the winner for the third year in a row

Agreed St3ve, a shame both AN Racing wagons bombed on the lines in the Semi's. Might've had a family Final in the FWD Class. LOL

your actually wrong there steve i have raced dee in the supra 5 times and beat it 4 of those a couple of those races both cars were in the 10,s dont want you giving out duff info!
it is a very quick car
