will i get my arse kicked
by a 323bhp/319lb/ft Cupra- those figures are SUPPOSEDLY at the wheels?
been having an argument with an arrogant little wanker who said in not so many words " my car will beat you in 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th for a fact"
my cossies spec
forge pistons
bd10s
vernier pulleys
forge 500 spec cooler
greens
t34 turbo
msd chip and setup
-34
and usual exhaust and filter etc
about 32 psi of boost lol
and that has ran for nearly 2 yrs before i get told it will blow up

My mate has a mk4 golf with 330bhp at the fly so 15bhp down on my 2wd cossie and there was nothing in it to till 5th gear where i started pulling on him.
TBH i think you will be VERY VERY surprised at how fast these 20v turbo motors are but i think you should beat him with that sort of boost.

Everyone has the blinkers on but tbh i think vag got it about right with the 20v turbo motor they seem to be like cossie motors in respect of stage of tune.
I mean a simple revo exhaust and filter on a 225 model can see 280bhp.
My mates golf had basically the same mods as my cossie ie standard internal, bigger injectors turbo etc and it shocked me i was expecting to leave him for dead but it was very very close and tbh the quickest car i had seen in a while

Had a guy at work tell me his R32 Golf would murder my S2. So we were going to have a play on the local dual carriageway at lunch. He saw the cage and dials and refused point blank to show me how superior his Golf was

The r32's aint that quick tbh, they will be quicker than a standard golf gti 20v tubby but once tuned the 20v turbo would piss all over an r32.
As is the case with your series2 an r32 would muller a standard erst but once boosted and roosted its a differnet game

I know the car you are talking about, its a yellow ibiza. He is like that with everyone saying he can beat this that and the other. It is a quick car. I think it's stripped out now, so will be a few kilo's less than what it should be.

no problemo whats the golf got in it 2.0 8v aint it. i hope she relises that its not shy in a straight line i have seen an unbelivable 156mph at 8100rpm on thel ocal test track the 174 lol
That said she said she was going to kick my arse in the saph but the teg dont do straight lines it was built for bends lol
O and think of it this way the ibiza was based on a vw polo, would you be as comfortable going up against a 323bhp vw polo cause i wouldntin my old taxi.
I think you should go balls out to prove the saph cause if its the same lad he is a tit who thinks that his ibiza is the be all and end all of the motoring world

It has 337 at the fly and 323 at the wheels which aint to be sniffed at with your spec tbh i think he will have you and you will be left to try and real him in once in 5th gear. down the parkway is your best bet imo

There are two different car's, the one up in the teeside area. not sure of the spec now.
And the badger5 one which now race's in the castle coombe championship, is close to 400bhp iirc and road legal, you cant miss it though

I know Badger5 from the gti Forum on the road you will lose bigtime, that car is a very quick track car. He aint got 400bhp though, he dont need it .
There is no way its him he dont need to brag his car can outrun a 500bhp Cossie round Coombe.
Anyway You cant really race on the road if your cars are as fast as you think.

My mates 330bhp mk4 golf has no issues what so ever, not sure about a standing start, but if he is racing the seat on the road then they will no doubt be doing a rolling start 2nd gear sort of thing i pressume
