i'm having 2 new front tyres 2morrow and having 1 of my wheels swapped so that all 4 are the same.

the favour... can someone covert 20 minutes toe in into mm for me please, my tyre place has a laser supertracker, but its only in mm,

if i said 0.5mm toe in overall, do 0.25 each side, would that be enough to counter the bush deflection...?

cossie front going by the service books, is 0mm +/-1mm

so if you go with 1mm toe IN then that will counter the wear nicely, and give you better steering responce and more stability at higher speeds

thats what i'll be doing tomorrow at 1500 anyway

righty:

had them fitted lastnight,

2 new T1S's ,4 wheel tracking for £218 all in

bargain

we found with the odd wheel (it was on the offside rear) was ET20 not Ey25 so sat 5mm further out, i only found this when i was cleaninghtem once a few months back.

so last time it was tracked up (assuming all wheels where the same) it was ajusted with 1mm overall toe in at the front (which is correct) but with the back being 5mm wider on one side, was actually makign the car toe in 6mm.

now its done, it actually goes in a staright line, no tramlining and steering snatching and feels much more stable

many thnaks for info guys

I didn't realise you had another, I thought you may have had to fit spacers on the others or something .
