Default getting MOT for the rst ??

i have no tax, no mot, no insurance, im not risking getting pulled over by pigs. the mot garage is only a couple of miles away. whats the best way round this, tow it there? heard something about your allowed to drive a certain distance but you must pre-book at the mot station??

you need Tax AND insurance to drive anywhere m8, and your only allowed to drive without an MOT to a pre-booked MOT at a garage

best to get a mate to trailer it

I think you are allowed to drive it on the road to your LOCAL mot station provided it is booked in with them
and
you have a valid license and have insurance

when i say local it dosent have to be the nearest one but something reasonably close.
ie not one in Birmingham if you live in Leeds

as said. get insured and u can drive it to the mot station. then u take ur mot and insurance to get tax.

dont forget most insurace companies offer a 14 day money back guarantee. so insure it the bay before. take it down. if it fails get it sorted within the 2 weeks and the cancel the insurance if u really dont want it insured for what ever reason.

Why not just explain the situation to the test station and get them to pick it up for you?? We pick up around 40% of our customers cars for them at my place...makes for a better service.
