Default Alloy Rad!

How much do they roughly reduce temps? and is it best to have one espcially when running 400bhp+ to keep everything cool and safe etc

Rhys,

I'd say it's a good thing mate.

I like the fact that the principle cooling part on the car is new, and you know its condition before you start (especially this time of year)

never had any problems with the standard rad,

some peeps have problems once they fit a 500 intercooler and the air has to go though that first,

as long as your rads in good order and the fans work, it will be fine,

add water wetter as well, and you will see 5 deg of your normal running temp,

well it did on mine and my gauge is correct,

the race cars have different rads bigger and alloy, the others looks like copper,

but they do not have fans and run flat out all the time so more cooling is needed,

Rhys, Water Wetter is this liquid that you put in your cooling system to help the temps stay down a little.

Unlike your self, a Bed Wetter!

but i was happy with 5 deg off,

Rhys

A standard is ok , like the rest said ...i changed mine for pace alloy rad because of trackdays ....saying that the alloy does keep the water temp a bit cooler if you get one cheap enough id worth having and they are abit lighter than the standard rad
