The far SW is certainly is a nice part of the country to live in.
I feel lucky being in Exeter, i've got Exeter, Torquay, and Plymouth
within half an hour of me, Cornwall in one direction, which depending
on whereabouts your going (and amount of caravans on the road) is
between an hour and hour and half away. Dartmoor on my doorstep,
and Bristol/Castle Combe etc is only just over an hour or so.
Cornwall is defenitily up and coming in terms of economics and
employment prospects also. The fact more people are holidaying the
UK has helped, but also the regional development agency has worked
hard to regenerate areas after the demise of the tin mines.
ATM i couldn't see myself ever moving out of the region, and i would
love to live in Cornwall myself, or even further a field - 28 miles off Lands
end, on the isles of scilly - now that is relaxed
Hows about these views out ya window... (Scroll right)
