Default Cossie's in Cornwall!

Hey All - just a quick post to tell you of my afternoon out in the cos - cruising down the A30 in Cornwall when all comes to a grinding halt - no fuel, so coasted off the road to check all the basics.

Have lived in Cornwall now for 18 months and owned my 4x4 for about 8 months, never seen another cos out on the road - so here i was - first breakdown and the only car to pull up and assist - another 4x4! Very impressed! Had a quick chat before the guy had to go, owner of a nice clean Stg1. Goes to show everyone sticks together and helps out. - so cheers!

Incidently, traced the fault to a bad connection to inertia switch in boot wheel well, so a quick and no-cost solution!

So how many other Cosworth owners about in Cornwall? 2 and counting!....

Theres atleast 2 meganta saphs going round, 3 black saphs & 2 white saphs, + 2 three doors, one in black & one in white. Oh and theres a grey one motoring about on N20..

They're the only ones i personally know of in the Penzance area..

Here's the car - not the greatest of pictures as the sun has revealed a rather two tone side!! Due for painting and engine rebuild soon anyway, but chuffed to bits with it anyway.

Not me! Having only lived in Cornwall since '03 I haven't ventured that far down yet - still only just finding my way over the moors and into Bodmin! I suspect another.

SOrry to bring an old thread up, I live in East Taphouse which is about 11 miles from bodmin, on the st austell to dobwalls road, if you go towards dobwalls, thru east taphouse, take the turning to doublebois, follow that road, as you enter the village, you will see Mad For It on the left, which is a very well known ford tuning garage
