Default Any Doctors in the house?

for the last week and a half my leg has been fooking agony

from the middle of my shin down to my ankle is very painfull, mostly when i bend my foot up and down, ie driving - and i do a lot of driving

if i press on the muscule/tendons or watever it hurts

walking is not so bad but still hurts and i got a bit of a limp

its my right leg btw, ive not banged it or anything, there is nothing funny to look at (other than the odd scar and hairyness )

so any ideas chaps?

Sounds like shin splints mate. I had that years ago, forced me to give us Ju Jitsu as my leg wouldn't have it. Will heal but it's murder to cope with.

Thats what i was gonna say. do you do anything high impact? running, football? As Stu says, it is painful to live with, but will heal given time.

Have you been wanking excessively?

(nothing to do with the leg, just a hunch )

sounds more like an RSI to me, although i'm no doctor. i've had the same thing in the past though.

could be that your driving position needs to be changed

I'd say it's more likely to be tendonitis like.

I get it when I do long walks in the lakes, usually clears up after a couple of days.

Neil.

Sounds a bit like the same sort of symptoms as Tennis Elbow (Which I've got !). Have you been stressing the ankle/lower leg,at all, like lifting something heavy, repeatedly ??

If it is what I think,it'll take a while to clear up....... Needs plenty of rest,so that you don't aggravate it !

Consultation Over......LOL !!

That's the lad with the black 7 series with the HANN plate? I know the car but couldn't tell you which of the staff it belongs to

I work at the gas plant for a couple of days every few months
