Dunno the price dan, i suppose if it is a boggo 3dr shell it would be a lot cheaper if you could prove their wrong and get the price dropped accordingly and didnt ford do a 13L 3dr sierra as well for a limited time..

I can quite easily tell from the photo that its 100% a cosworth motorsport shell and not a base one.
How ? - look in the wheel wells - so seam sealer or underseal - all road shells whether base model or cosworth would be undersealed from the factory.
there are lots of other tell tales to prove its a genuine cosworth motorsport one if you inspected it -like rear spring towers missing, seat brackets missing, no battery tray etc etc etc
Easy enough to verify also just by asking them what number is stamped on the colour chassis tag on the front slam panel - it will start 909 and actually has motorpsort stamped on it as well.

not the best shell to re-shell a road car into as lots of brackets are missing which you would have to cut out of a donor, (although any sierra hatch shell would do as a donor for these bits )- also it needs to be fully seam sealed, sound proofed and undersealed for the road or it would rot in no time
Nice base for a track car though as its easy to seam weld and strengthen as the sealer is already off.
Its about the right price as they are also around with all new closures for usually around £1500
