Default opinions please

Has anone here ever been in or owned a mk3 ford fiesta 1.8 diesel?
Can someone tell me there opinions on the car or the pro's and con's of the car?

Got one sat outside now full of rubbish for the tip!
Slow as hell especially with a Cossie lump thrown in the back but great on fuel which is why i bought it as it had a full tank

lol, Well i have just bought one as my first car! it looks like it will have to do for a year or so until i get my escort rs turbo what would you say the average mpg is? as an estimate of course.
Is there anyway of making the car sound less like a tank/army tank???

yep, take the engine out and buy a petrol one

Nah seriously im not sure but who cares if its your first car? nobodys first car is 100% perfect unless your flush!

Main factors of having a first car is that its cheap to run and look after until you build up some no claims for insurance
