Hi everyone. Sounds like I missed a good race, well done to Stuart, Chris and Andrew.
To answer your questions the reason I didnt make it was an ECU problem which did not happen until late Saturday night, not having a spare T6 ECU I was unable to make it.
There was no problem with the turbo. All will be resolved ready for the next round at Snetterton.
Looking forward to seeing everyone and having a good race.
Regards Steve Scott.

Looks like his cage did what its meant for??? The boy couldnt have been that bad if his dad had time to try to threaten the driver of the focus.

Hi Gareth T, don't be sorry, they are excellent shots of a very tidy engine bay.

Has anyone got any specs for the AM cars and focus??

Someone said that Gareth Loyds lap record was broken by the WRC Escort?? Can anyone confirm??

Awesome cars. Look Forward to Donnington in a few weeks.

Hi Brasso, to answer your question about Mallory lap times, Gareth has managed to get into 47's, the best time on Sunday was a very impressive 49.385.

Hi Mickw, you are correct, he did 49.1 in '96, he gradually got down to 47's in the late 90's.
It is great to see the recent drop in lap times in the Ford Saloons, although it has taken 10 years !

The lap record round mallory for the ford saloons is 49.1, any quicker times done round there would have been in a different formula and most probberly on full slicks which are around 2.5-3 seconds a lap quicker than the dunlop formula R's we use.

But the 49.1 that was set 10 Years ago was done on A008'r's which would be at least 2 to 3 seconds a lap slower than the current Dunlop formula R's used at Mallory !
Which means they are still 2 or 3 seconds a lap slower than the Lap Record !
They are not like for like times.
