a full motor all built up including all manifolds and loom etc minus a gearbox is a big lump and weighs quite a bit lol
A bottem end complete is as stated managable by 1 person ime

Acording to this web site below, they weight about 115kg's. Doesn't say whats included in that. I assume it means just the bare engine.

having been moving one around id guess block with sump is about 30kg if not more so possibly 50-60 for a whole engine without gearbox

i know theyre heavier than a cvh, i can chuck a cvh about quite easilly but nearly dropped a bollock when i lifted the complete zetec out the car with inlets pumps, etc etc etc on...
115 you recon then?
recon 50kgs extra at the front of the car would make it handle like a pig?

Na all cars can be set up to suite imo.
My nova 16v handled like it was on rail's that had avo coilovers fully polly bushed strutbrace etc.
Didnt understeer like everyone would have you believe
