rst van fuel trank conversion?
im thinking of doig my van this weekend converting it to a rst, its had a petrol conversion done before which used a van petrol tank, of which i think has a swirl pot, if this is the case could i use these fuel lines and tank instead of rs ones? and then just change the fuel pump? or would i have to use everything exernal? the tank is a proper van one and is running a 1.4 carb if that helps? cheers
ps any info on van conversions much appreciated

r the current line metal or plastic?
from doing my nova that was a carb i need the fuel tank, lines and pump.
the pump was external. i was told i needed an injection fuel tank as its under pressure when using a fuel injection system and fuel pump.
if ur tank is capable of being used in an injection system then an external pump and fuel lines will probably get u sorted. if u need lines that is.
i used copper pipe for my fuel lines! works fine.
idealy u need to know about ur lines and tank if they are useable on an injection system and go from there.
if not then investigate mounting the xr3i tank u have on the van and sorting the filling neck and lines and stuff.
im sure someone on here will have done the conversion before and will help u!
it might help if u called it a tank instead of a trank in the title. ha ha ha

oh rite lol ok its an rst tank in the cab, but where my van has been converted before i think it has a swirl pot so will have to check, oh and ur said your fuel lines were copper? treat them as i had copper brake lines on my punto and was called back to fiat as the salt was corroding them!
