went to my local dealer to see about getting a genuine ford exhaust for my wifes frst and thay said sory mate we dont sell them anymore? i thought wtf ek brakes said yes we do again ford strugle to get major parts for ther cars just like s2 head gaskets , i was told non in the country..wtf.. rang m.s.d. got one

the point im making is that ek brakes have more off the shelf parts than ford and loads cheaper

i read that manufactorers are only obliged to produce replacement parts for cars for 10 years after they go out of production, and they stopped the fiesta rst's on a k reg, maybe this is why.

to be fair i think ford know other companies will knock some bits out for their car, and for the amount they will spend to make certian parts, store them shit them etc. compared to how much they will make from selling the, they may as well cut their losses and save the bother.

where as in my case my dealers have stopped making stuff coz they have decided to sell the company. blooked mgrover
