Christ, what is it with people. Sounds like my post about my idiot neighbours having a go at me without foundation. Check your facts before you kick off
Greenlight are a top company, I've been with them for years and Tony/Neil are unbelievably helpful. I had a couple of policy issues this year and in a a couple of emails Neil sorted it all out as they have done every single year. Fuck any other company..try actually claiming or leaving Adrian Flux and you'll soon realise what a BIG mistake you've made going with them when they rape you of your money! Courtesy goes a fucking long way in this world.
Have the courtesy to accept you are wrong, be a man and apologise!

The date of birth section is free format and uses drop boxes, which need to be completed.
I understand that you wouldnt have keyed your details in wrong on purpose, nobody would. But can only imagine that you missed it one time, then thought the question was to do with something else?
Our forms are "hard coded" and have inbuilt keystroke audit trails in order that Insurers can use them as the basis for contracts.
In addition, the e-mails sent to you advising that we couldnt help both show the reason why we couldnt - check them, you'll see!
The reason element of the text within the e-mails is EXACTLY as I copied and displayed earlier in this post. As it was taken (copied & pasted) from the very e-mails that were despatched to you each time.
These can be moved to a section of our website for viewing if required.
As a broker we only earn a commission for policies sold, thus we want to cover as many of you as we can. The only restriction is the parameters or criteria of the underwriter in question.
Having reviewed your case the ONLY reason we couldnt offer terms was due to the date of birth missing.
Regards
Tony

Thanks Stu,
But I PM'd a moderator who suggested that I start another post which could only then be locked by the originator.
Which is what I did.
You know what its like running a business, we do our best and try to accomodate as many people as we can, but we cant please all the people all the time.
I've always been into my cars, owning and running modified vehicles since I was 18. We are genuine vehicle enthusiasts that have engineered and launched Greenlight a decade ago to cater for people like us.
Basically, its Insurance from car nuts for car nuts.
In this case I saw the "joke" post - there was no opportunity given, or PM to me (or checking of the very e-mail declining quotations). The first I knew was when I logged on and saw what we considered to be unjust abuse.
The situation was not our fault and we can produce evidence to that effect, thus my reaction.
Decorum was maintained initially, but i'm passionate about my company and took offence at the manner in which we were berated.
Anyway.. one flare up in 2 years of involvement with Passion ford is pretty good by my standards
Kind regards & thanks once again
Tony

Totally out of order from someone who is supposed to stop inflamatory and slagging posts NOT START THEM.
The title of this thread should be modded as well in my opinion. If anyone glances at it they could presume Greenlight have done something wrong.
And the BIGGEST EVER as well
and if i could add... 100000000000)% agree also. twat.. no other word for it. i spose at least the title has been changed but like ran said.. hardly the first time is it?
spose i'll get banned now
