Default Job Advice

Just about to do my GCSE's in school, but really confused about whats next after that! I aim to get a well paid job which includes ICT, engineering, or cars as they are my main interests
Options i have so far are;
- Go to Gloscat college to get a degree in some form of ICT or Engineering
- Get an apprenticeship bein a sparky/plumber or spirax sarco technician engineer (requires 4 gcses B or above which is higher expectations then most)

My predicted GCSES are
Engineering A*
Maths B
Science A/B
English A
Business Studies B
ICT B
P.E A/B
R.E E < seriously lol cant stand that jesus shite

Just asking knowing most of you can afford expensive cars what would you do? Where is the money? I want a decent paid job
Any help appreciated!

go for something with a guaranteed job at the end of it if posible mate, i did aerospace engineering for 3 years purely because it seemed like something worthwhile doing etc but getting a career in it is harder than i thought. id have been better off going for an aprentiship basiclly.

Gloscat? Spirax? Jesus shite?

I take it you at St Benedicts then?

I did all 3 of that shit, tho worked in the offices in Spirax, and just went out on the piss rather than actually doing my A-levels (33% attendance overall at 3yrs at Gloscat ).

Get a trade like electriction, plumber, or some shit i reckon, loadsa money in the long term.

I did Maths, Physics and Technology at A'level and went on to do a Mechanical Engineering Degree at Loughborough. I've worked at Kodak as a process engineer and Energy Manager. Since then I've been doing consultancy but yesterday I found out I've just landed a new job with massive pay rise and package. I'll post more later when the official paperwork gets here as it could mean the end of the cossie

When I heard I went out and bought a load of porsche magazines. I got home and the wife had bought a load of the property papers

Degree is way forward if you want to work for a good company. Trade if you want to end up working for yourself I'd say.
