Rhys i am the 2ed Officer of a 58m Yacht worth in excess of $60mil US i run the outside of the boat so everything that you see outside is put in place by myself from the cleaning down to the Varnish and Paint work, we also have 2 22ft tenders 1 being a 225hp Rib and the other a nice Chris Craft Ski boat with a 4.7ltr Marcury. I also am responsible for a bridge watch meaning for 8 hours a day when underway i am the man with the master plan on the bridge controlling collision avoidance to navigation.

As for costs of running these thing look at approx 10% of the value of the thing in Le Grand Bleu's case (LGB) i would have thought some thing in the order of 10/12 Million US a year would be fairly close being that that thing has 40 odd crew 2 70ft tenders on deck sometimes 2 Sikorsky helicopters , the above cost is not based on the maintence of the Helicopters though.

As for whos boat it is unfortunately i am signed on to a confidentiality agreement, all i will say is he's approx # 350ish in the world, or 353 on Forbes current list if i recall correctly,

As for qualifications i have an MCA Cheif Mate 3000grt license and this Winter i will be sitting my Master 3000grt which will allow me to command any Yacht up to 3000 Gross registered Tonnes so in reality about a 125meter Yacht...................

I also have my PADI Divemaster and am Advanced Nitrox certified.
