really just wanting a lap timer but at most trackdays they turn off the standard lap timing beacons that most timers will pick up!
i'm pushed towards a gps based one
and drift box being a displayed jobbie fits the bill but looks tacky imo, for the money i might aswell go for the all singing all dancing data logger ! my theory is i can use my laptop connected to it in the boot then output live data from that to my 7" pioneer tv/sat nav display???
expensive but could be comprehensive?

Driftbox is the fucking bollocks, get it, trust me, ive tested it against proper Datron stuff.
It IS an all-singing all-dancing datalogger, does exactly what 12grands worth of Datron Microsat does, infact the datalogging PC sortware is exactly the bloody same when sat side by side.
As long as you got the optional GPS arial tit to put on your roof you can luzz the driftbox in your glovebox if you wanna hide it.
