HIC cover you for track days. Also think Flux do as part of their normal insurance.

I do but I'm with HIC. If you look on MLR you'll see a couple who didn't.

Daft if you don't. Pace Ward the official MLR Insurers do trackday ins @ £60.00 if you're insured with them.

There's also Eggar Lawson who do one day cover.

Do a search on Google, there's quite a few places that do it.

with HIC it cost nothing extra on your policy.

I would mate with a car likes yours. I was at Cadwell Park yesterday and there was a trackday. I think it was a Evo club as there was about 20 Evo's like yours plus some other cars. 2 Evo's crashed, both had a fair bit of damage so its worth it just incase

If your running with one of the Track Day Clubs.....they normally offer a track day insurance for the day......I paid sixty quid for a day at Goodwood, with a 1k access on the cossie valued at 10k.

Hi Buddy,

Just to confirm, Greenlight track cover is for people that are with us already and the latest rates are £50.00 per day.

The excess is usually double your policy excess and the cover is for accidental damage (inc total loss) for the total value of your vehicle.

There are some companies that give the cover free, but the excesses do start at a £1000+ so for your own good, i'd suggest you take 5 mins to check out their cover before toucing the tarmac.

For stand alone cover, drivers that are not with Greenlight or any other company that offers some of our clients have used Everett Boles at
www.moris.co.uk .

Hope this helps.

Kind regards

Tony

Last time i insured the cossie on track it was £85 and now its £50

Isnt insurance supposed to go up rather than down

Hi Buddy,

I'll make a note of your comment on your file for when we calculate your renewal

Seriously though, the reason for the reduction is the exclusion of castle coombe from our track cover.. the reason being we have had 3 total losses (Scooby's) costing nearly £60k on that track and it will take a lifetime of £85's to pay that back.

The choice we had was charge more on all other tracks to recoup the castle coombe losses, or lose castle coombe & reduce that rates for all other tracks from £85 to £50.

We chose the latter.

Kind regards

Tony
