Also, looks like the late small turbo bodyshell with the hinged fuel filler panel..........

And RED hexagon trim on a dark coloured car? I was sure the dark metalic cars had grey haxagon trim fitted ????

Unless this car is a ringer, it looks like the advertiser has got the YEAR wrong.........But then again ABC motorsport are in the trade.........Very unusual fro a trader to get the year wrong - especially a Cosworth speciaist

Yes, I think so. They are on the south coast - Sussex IIRC.

I don't want to piss on any fires here guys but I have a factory small turbo that has a build date of june 1993 yes I am not joking!!!!

mine is a very early one they did make them in 93!!
it has a fuel filler cap, big mirrors (now small) and big turbo badges on the back, it also has the wipac immobiliser which was fitted after the vecta one was discontinued and before the pats system introduced and fitted to most small turbo models.

Even more intresting is the fact that it is regisered on an N plate but then I know why
And it's nothing dodgy!!!

You sure Steve?

From the book "The Cosworth Fords" by Jeremy Walton (this book was checked over for accuracy by Ford personal prior to being published:

thing is doug how many small turbo's have 93 spec immobilisers?
I haven't seen many, also the dates on the plastics are all 93 and not 94!!

OK a big to me!!!
just checked and the build date is 11 june 94 and the ashtray plastic is 94. I knew it was at least a year out of sync, the car is declared manufactured 1995 on the logbook.
I thought it was 93 honest!!
still makes it an early small turbo with a mish mash of parts fitted tho!

Sounds like your car was built from the last of the big turbo bodyshells - but fitted with the then latest/new EECV small turbo engine..........it all makes sense now
