Default how to use the search function

I don't understand how to search a word with some numerics.

For example i want to search "L8", if i click on search and put L8 the system tell me "no messages found"

any tipps for me ?

Its too short, try adding another word, such as ECU.

Also remember that to narrow your searches, use the word "AND" using capitals, this will return only topics with both words in.

example:

L8 AND ecu, gives 50 pages.
