I'd be trying Midland car parts on parcel terrace (off old uttoxeter road) if i was you.
Ive had loads of bits from there from oil filters right through to race pads etc,they can usulay get there hands on anything and sometimes do things a bit cheaper than the list price if you ask nicely

doesn't matter what car it's fitted to,that price is high!!! doubt it would cost more than £150 tbh, and it'll be the same part from wherever you buy it, just different prices!!
got my unused 2wd alternator from my local alt./starter/battery specialist for £65 with 12mths guarantee, my local parts place qouted £105 (this is for a 90amp alternator for my 2wd, dunno if 4x4 is different but i doubt it)
